Frequently Asked Questions (F.A.Q.)

Admission/Park Policy
Guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a guest 18 or over and must purchase an all day ride pass or a value strip of 14 tickets. Or, they must be a member of a chaperoned group. Guests over 18 may choose a gate admission only if they choose not to ride. Children 2 and younger do not pay gate admission but must pay to ride. Additional Park Policies are available here.

Adverse Weather Conditions
To provide for the safety and convenience of our guests, Lake Winnepesaukah has access to comprehensive regional forecasts. Some rides and attractions will close temporarily during electrical storms, heavy rains, high winds, and other severe weather conditions. As soon as conditions permit safe operation, these rides or attractions will re-open. Please remember, it is not possible to specifically state which rides will be closed at specific times because the varying degrees of weather conditions cause different effects on different rides. The park does not issue rain-checks or refunds due to inclement weather.

ATM
An ATM is located in the Gift Shop.

Babies
Diaper changing facilities are located in the men’s and women’s restrooms in the park.

Catering
Catered Meals are available for groups of 50 or more and include gate admission, unlimited rides, picnic meal and reserved pavilion. Contact us for more information or call 706-866-5681 ext. 242.

Checks
Personal checks are not accepted. The park accepts business, organization and church checks.

Credit Cards
VISA, MasterCard and Discover are accepted at the Entrance Gates, Gift Shop, Carrousel Café and Ferris Wheel Food Concession areas.

Dress Code
Shirts and shoes must be worn at all times. Clothing containing profanity is not allowed.

First Aid
Two air conditioned Comfort Stations are located inside the park. The Comfort Stations also provide privacy for nursing.

Group Sales
Lake Winnepesaukah offers discounted rates for groups of 25 or more riders. More information is available here or contact us online or call 706-866-5681 ext. 243.

Guests of Exceptional Size
Due to rider safety restraints, guests of exceptional size may not be able to be accommodated on some rides. Lap bars, shoulder harnesses, seat belts, and other safety restraints must be positioned, fastened and tightened properly in order for guests to ride. Weight limits are posted at the Alpine Way and the Pipeline Plunge.

Kids’ Meals
Children’s Meals are available at the Carrousel Café and Ferris Wheel Food. Kids’ Meals include sandwich, french fries, drink and a treat.

Line Jumping
Line Jumping or saving line space is not allowed. This rule is strictly enforced.

Lockers
Small lockers are located behind the Tilt-A-Whirl and near the Hat Shop.

Loose Articles
Lake Winnepesaukah is not responsible for lost articles. Please secure any loose articles before riding.

Lost and Found
All items found at Lake Winnepesaukah are turned in to the Lost and Found department at the Information Window located across from the Paddle Boats. If you lose an item on a ride, we will search for the item as soon as possible, although an immediate search may not be possible. Please visit Lost and Found to give the necessary information so an item may be returned to you if it is found.

Lost Children
Lost children (or parents) should go the nearest uniformed Park Security Officer or to the Information Window.

Military Discount
Each season, Lake Winnepesaukah offers a free day for the Military on Memorial Day. Complimentary gate admission and unlimited rides are given to those showing a valid Active or Retired ID. Active or retired military personnel and immediate family members are eligible for this complimentary day. If the military person is currently deployed, the family members are eligible for this day as long as they show a current military family ID at the park entrance.

Paging
Paging is not available for individuals. Paging is reserved for announcing catered meals and for groups leaving the park.

Picnic Baskets and Coolers
Picnic baskets and coolers are welcome in the picnic grove. Please, no fast food, pizzas, commercially prepared chicken or glass containers. Grills, grilling and open flames are not allowed. Electrical appliances (crock pots, fans, radios, etc.) are not allowed in the park.

Picnic Pavilions
Picnic Pavilions are available on a first-come basis.

Re-entering the Park
If you leave the park and plan to return that day, please keep your wristband or admission badge for re-entry.

Scooters, Skates and Skateboards
Scooters, skates, skateboards and shoes with wheels are not permitted in the park.

Service Animals
Service animals are welcome at Lake Winnepesaukah. All service animals must remain physically controlled on a leash or harness at all times. Service animals are not allowed on rides. No animals other than service animals are allowed in the park.

Smoking Policy
For the comfort of our guests, smoking is permitted in designated smoking areas only. Smoking areas are located in each section of the park. Smoking is not permitted in the childrens area on Kiddie Hill and in the Jukebox Junction Stage area.

Strollers
We suggest that if a stroller will make your visit easier that you bring your own. Lake Winnepesaukah does not have stroller rentals.

Wheelchairs
We suggest if you need a wheelchair to make your visit more comfortable that you bring your own. Lake Winnepesaukah does not offer wheelchair rentals.
