Performers from every musical genre stepped into the spotlight at the 2010 Lake Winnie Adult Talent Search. In the end, one shined brightest and the first-ever Adult WinniSTAR was crowned! Morgan Taylor of Cartersville, Georgia took home top honors in the competition with her vocal performance of “You Ain’t Woman Enough."

A wide range of singing talents turned out for the competition. In the end, the top acts from the three preliminary rounds competed in the finals on May 30th for the Grand Prize which included $500 and the chance to open for Confederate Railroad on September 5, 2010 on Lake Winnepesaukah’s Jukebox Junction Stage.

2010 Adult WinniSTAR, Morgan Taylor, will perform on Sunday, September 5th, as she opens for Confederate Railroad at Lake Winnepesaukah Amusement Park. Also opening for Confederate Railroad will be the winner from the 2010 Youth Talent Search which will hold its preliminary rounds on August 1, 8, & 22, 2010.

Admission to Lake Winnepesaukah Amusement Park is only $5.00. An Unlimited Ride Pass is available for only $21.00 and parking is always free! Guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a guest 18 or over and must purchase an all day ride pass or a value strip of 14 tickets for $13.00. Or, they must be a member of a chaperoned group. Lake Winnepesaukah Amusement Park has been recognized as one of “America’s Top Ten Family Amusement Parks” by Travel & Leisure Magazine.
