There is family fun for everyone at the South’s favorite family amusement park as Lake Winnepesaukah welcomes the one-of-a-kind Strawberry Shortcake. The popular childhood icon will be appearing to meet and greet guests of all ages at Lake Winnepesaukah on Sunday, August 9, 2009.

“Strawberry Shortcake is a timeless character whose adventures and stories have entertained generations,” stated Talley Green of Lake Winnepesaukah. “We are looking forward to welcoming her to Lake Winnepesaukah. Seeing her here will bring ‘berry-licious’ smiles to our guests.” Strawberry Shortcake will be appearing every hour on the hour beginning at 1:00 p.m. and ending at 7:00 p.m. Bring your camera! Visits and personal photos with Strawberry Shortcake are free with park admittance to Lake Winnepesaukah.

Admission to Lake Winnepesaukah Amusement Park is only $5.00. An Unlimited Ride Pass is available for only $21.00 and parking is always free! Guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a guest 18 or over and must purchase an all day ride pass or a value strip of 14 tickets for $12.00. Or, they must be a member of a chaperoned group. Lake Winnepesaukah Amusement Park has been recognized as one of “America’s Top Ten Family Amusement Parks” by Travel & Leisure Magazine.
