With an all day ride pass priced at the vintage price of only $15.00 per person, the whole family can enjoy the quality fun & entertainment that Lake Winnepesaukah has offered for over eighty years. This Memorial Day, escape to an oasis of fun in the refreshing waters of the new Chill Down Kidtown. A first of its kind playground of interactive misters and water elements, Chill Down Kidtown is perfect for keeping cool on hot summer days. Thrill seekers can try the twisted steel of the Wild Lightnin’ roller coaster while the younger set can enjoy the beginner coaster fun of the Wacky Worm. Families can enjoy the “Good Old Days” aboard traditional rides that have been part of the park for generations, including the classic antique Carrousel and the one-of-a-kind Boat Chute. Younger riders will delight on the magical Whale ride and the gentle Parachutes. Towering over Georgia’s oldest roller coaster, the world-famous Cannon Ball, guests can dare to enter the OH-ZONE!, Lake Winnepesaukah’s 14-story freefall ride. Enjoy the “Good Old Days” at Lake Winnepesaukah on Sunday, May 24 from 12 noon to 10:00 p.m. and on Monday, May 25 from 12 noon to 8:00 p.m. Gate Admission to Lake Winnepesaukah Amusement Park is only $5.00. On Sunday, May 24, and Monday, May 25, an Unlimited Ride Pass is only $15.00 per person and parking is always free! At Lake Winnepesaukah May 23-24 If you have always loved the infectious music of Merry-Go-Rounds, visit Lake Winnepesaukah Memorial Day weekend for a trip down memory lane as carousel organ music fills the air. Music of the Carousel Organ Association of America will encompass Lake Winnepesaukah May 23-25, as carousel organ enthusiasts from across the nation gather to share their music with park guests. The hand-crafted musical instruments range from smaller monkey organs cranked by hand to large trailer-mounted organs that will be located throughout the park. On Saturday, May 23, the organs will be played from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. On Sunday, May 24, organ music can be heard from 12 noon until 10:00 p.m. and on Monday, May 25, music will fill the air from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. The Carousel Organ Association of America is devoted to enjoying, preserving, and sharing knowledge of all outdoor mechanical musical instruments; including band, fair, street organs, calliopes, and hand-cranked organs of all sizes. Lake Winnepesaukah will be open on Saturday, May 23, from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m.; Sunday, May 24, from 12 noon until 10 p.m.; and Monday, May 25, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. All guests under 18 must be accompanied by a guest age 18 or over and must purchase either a combination $5.00 gate admission & $12.00 value strip of ride tickets or $5.00 gate admission & $21 unlimited ride pass. Or, they must be a member of a chaperoned group. Guests over 18 may enter with a $5.00 gate admission only. Children 2 and under are admitted free but must pay to ride. Parking is free. On Monday, May 25, those presenting an Active Duty ID card at the entrance gates will receive free gate admission and unlimited rides. The actual service person need not be present. Children must be accompanied by an adult with Active Duty identification in order to receive free gate admission and unlimited rides.
