The South’s favorite family amusement park is flipping thrill-seekers head-over-heals during the 2012 season as Lake Winnepesaukah Amusement Park - a mainstay in Chattanooga, Tennessee for over 85 years – launces the all-new Fire Ball, a breathtaking ride where guests ascend a full 360-degree loop!

“This is the first ride we’ve ever added at Lake Winnepesaukah that completely inverts all the riders,” stated Talley Green of Lake Winnepesaukah. “A skilled pilot can invert our Fly-O-Plane, but everyone who boards the Fire Ball will get a view of the Chattanooga skyline from an inverted perspective!”

Crews have been busy to erect the new ride and place it in its new home at Lake Winnepesaukah, readying it for its debut over Memorial Day weekend. There’ll be no missing the new attraction, located right inside the front gates. Its towering loop has permanently changed the park’s skyline!

The new ride builds the excitement as it starts out gentle, “The train actually eases into a rocking motion along the track.” However, that’s just the calm before the storm as Fire Ball quickly picks up speed and it takes riders over the top of its circle loop and rocketing back down to earth.

Manufactured by Larson International, Inc., the makers of the park’s already popular OH-ZONE!, the Fire Ball is certain to delight riders and thrill-seekers alike alongside the park’s other classic rides such as The Cannon Ball and The Boat Chute. “Lake Winnepesaukah is a family park,” offered Green. “Even with a ride as thrilling as this, we still pack our attractions lineup with as much excitement possible for a full day of family fun.”
